One of my elections is Prototype design. In this class we use Xacto knives, poster boards, and hot glue guns to create things. It tests us on our skills of using knives, cutting, hot gluing, and following blue prints. We also do Photoshop projects in this class. We take a picture off the internet and make it our own.

This is my log book. We made a log book to write down what we did each day and to stay organized. I decorated with things that I like and things that I like to do.

This is a card stock letter. We made this to test out our cutting and to test out the hot glue gun. We were given a piece of card stock paper and we had to choose a letter. I chose the letter J because my name starts with a J. Then I cut it out and made one inch sides to make it 3D. I then colored it pink.

We made a clip board binder out of a piece of cardboard to test out our knife skills and to use a blue print.

This is my rubber band racer. I started off by scrolling through the internet trying to get ideas. I came across this car that looked like a giant fluffy thing. I was thinking for a long time about what I could do. Then an old man came to my mind. I thought it would be cute to do an old man. Next, I cut out the sides and I glue them together. Then I moved onto the wheels. I put them on my car and it was lop sided. With a lot of help from Mr. Grillo, we got it to work. Now, the fun and easy part is decorating the car. I made the front the face and colored everything else teal. Old guys like teal... I think. I did not expect my car to move at all, but it moved further then what I expected. I hope I never have to build a car again.

I researched ideas for rubber band catapults. I came across this popsicle catapult. I brought in popsicle sticks the next class and I started to build it. Once I finished the building part, I started to practice with it. Mr. Grillo noticed two things, the rubber bands were two stretched out and that I needed to make it a little more accurate. I used a broken rubber band and tied the rubber bands together to make it tighter. Then I put two popsicle sticks on the side of the launcher, so it won't move around. I tested my catapult and my scores ended up being 100, 60, and 50.

For our first Photoshop projects, we made jump outs. My first one is a elephant and my second one is Zac Efron. We took a picture from the internet and cut it out on the computer. Then we made the picture look like it was coming out of a frame.

These are my celeb Photoshop projects. For the first one, I found a picture of Sam Hunt online and cut myself out of a picture and put myself in the picture of Sam Hunt. I edited the picture to make it look more real. For the second picture, I stalked Zac Efron. I found a picture on the internet and put myself in the background. For my last celeb project, I put myself in a movie scene from The Outsiders. I edited it to make it look more real.
